I know we all have things that tempt us to eat them and some may not be as healthy as we would hope. Why not wait just 5 minutes when you have that craving? Then after the five minutes is up, if you still want to indulge in it then go for it within reason. I thought I really wanted that big dessert, but waiting I realized I was just over whelmed and stressed. I skipped the dessert and felt so glad i did. I was not hungry and know that I will allow myself to have a treat when I really want it. Next time you have a craving, take a few minutes to focus and see if it is some thing you really will fell better if you pass on.
